Tortus Copenhagen is coming to Sydney! Eric Landon makes 10 vessel types giving a comprehensive look at the unique approach and techniques he applies at the wheel to make all of his work. This workshop will cover a series of vases, bottles and bowls, introducing you to tricks, techniques and skills that will allow you to get more out of your wheel. This workshop is appropriate for beginner and intermediate ceramicists.
There are only very limited spaces available for each workshop. All equipment, tools, and clay are included. Firing of work is not included in the price of the workshop. If students wish to keep their work for completion at a later date, firing service can be arranged with MakerSpace.
Eric is a potter and co-founder of Tortus Copenhagen. Both a master potter and designer, Eric is focused on a constant refinement of form and technique. For him, one cannot evolve naturally without the other. His love for wheel thrown pottery started at age 16 and his passion has evolved into a way of life, his vocation.
Eric is a graduate of the Danish school of Design in Copenhagen and has been awarded with numerous grants, international exhibition selections, and other awards and honours for the quality of his work.
